PUTTING SAN BERNARDINO’S HOMEOWNERS AND RESIDENTS FIRST
By working together we brought San Bernardino out of bankruptcy, balanced our budget, and returned transparency to city government. We enhanced public safety, delivered neighborhood improvements, and obtained millions in needed funding to revitalize our community. With your vote we will continue our record of success, returning an exceptional quality of life and opportunity to all who call our city home.”
ACTIVE CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT
We established accountable transparent government, hosting community discussions open to all residents prior to council meetings.
FINANCIAL STABILITY
We resolved our city’s bankruptcy, building over $30million in reserve funds while balancing our budget.
PUBLIC SAFETY ENHANCEMENTS
We created the Northern District Command, improving community police response while investing in new patrol vehicles and video surveillance capabilities.
NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENTS
We improved Little Mountain Drive; addressed traffic congestion with the up coming University Freeway Interchange Project; installed new playground equipment; and obtained $3million in state funds to develop our city’s long term plan for quality development and prosperity.
About Henry
Our family has called San Bernardino “home” for over a century. Today our city suffers from the devastation of blight, crime, substandard development, low quality housing, divisiveness, and poor quality of life. Together through active citizen involvement we can revive our city by:
Advancing responsible development that encourages homeownership over detrimental excess rental housing.
Ending political corruption while restoring accountability at City Hall by holding regular community discussions with residents to review City Council meeting agendas.
Returning collegiality and collaboration among members of our community, elected leadership and city staff.
As a homeowner, born and raised in San Bernardino we must revitalize our All-American city. As your next City Council Member, together we must:
Reduce Homelessness
Shut down illegal outdoor encampments, while working to secure more resources to keep homeless individuals off our streets.
Combat Crime
Advance community policing without “defunding” our police. We need more police officers patrolling our neighborhoods and parks, not fewer!
Invest in our Community
Continue to correct decades of neglect by repaving crumbling streets, citing vacant and blighted properties, and improving quality of life for all.
